Job description
Role Summary
We are looking for an AI & Automation Platform Developer (Low-Code Solutions) to design, develop, and implement intelligent automation solutions and business applications that improve Finance productivity and operational efficiency.
The role will work closely with Finance and business users to understand process pain points, gather requirements, and translate them into practical automation solutions. The primary platform direction is SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), and candidates with SAP BTP experience are highly desired. Candidates with experience in comparable enterprise automation or low-code platforms, strong workflow automation capabilities, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Solution Development
- Design, configure, and deliver AI-enabled automation workflows and business solutions.
- Develop scalable solutions to streamline Finance processes and improve user experience.
- Configure business rules, approvals, notifications, and system integrations to support Finance operations.
- Support testing, deployment, issue resolution, and continuous improvement activities.
- Participate in proof-of-concept, pilot, and production implementation of AI-enabled automation solutions.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI capabilities to improve business processes and user productivity.
Business Engagement
- Work closely with Finance users to understand operational challenges and identify automation opportunities.
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into solution designs and implementation approaches.
- Facilitate user discussions, solution walkthroughs, testing activities, and user training.
- Recommend process improvements and AI-enabled automation opportunities.
Integration & Technical Coordination
- Work with Group IT and technical teams to support automation and AI solution implementation.
- Coordinate system access, connectivity, security, and integration requirements for solution deployment.
- Identify and escalate technical dependencies, risks, and implementation issues.
Your skills and experience
Candidate Requirements
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience developing and delivering workflow automation, low-code solutions, business applications, or digital transformation initiatives using enterprise platforms.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and end users.
- Experience delivering automation solutions, AI-enabled use cases, Generative AI applications, or AI agent solutions.
- Hands-on experience with at least one of the following automation and AI platforms: Microsoft Copilot Studio, Dataiku, KNIME, Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform, or UiPath.
Must-Have Skills
Workflow & Automation Development
- Experience designing and implementing workflow automation solutions.
- Understanding of approval processes, business rules, notification mechanisms, and exception handling.
- Ability to configure and support end-to-end business solutions and automation workflows.
System Integration
- Understanding of APIs and system integration concepts.
- Understanding of application connectivity and integration methods through APIs, connectors, and enterprise systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues.
Problem Solving
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and platforms.
Communication
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) or related SAP ecosystem technologies.
- Experience or familiarity with Finance business processes and systems.
- Exposure to enterprise ERP platforms, particularly SAP environments.
- Experience working in shared services, finance operations, or business transformation initiatives.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Engineering, Finance, or related disciplines.
