- Position Title: AI Testing Intern - iCAP AI v7
- Department: IT & BPO
- Location: DHL Global Forwarding Vietnam (8th Floor, Etown 5 Building, 364 Cong Hoa, Tan Binh Ward, HCMC)
- Employment Type: Internship
- Duration: 6 months
- Working Arrangement: Full-time from Monday to Friday; 1-2 study off-sessions per week may be acceptable
- Report / Work With: IT & BPO Team, Business Users, and iCAP/local process stakeholders
Purpose of the Role
Support iCAP AI v7 testing, validation, prompt improvement, issue tracking, and documentation to strengthen local adoption and testing quality.
About the Role
We are looking for an AI Testing Intern to support the implementation and continuous improvement of iCAP AI v7, DHL's intelligent document processing platform. The intern will help validate AI extraction results, test new functionalities, analyze exceptions, and support prompt accuracy and process performance improvement. This role provides hands-on exposure to AI, document automation, business process digitalization, and enterprise system testing.
Key Responsibilities
AI Testing & Validation
- Execute test scenarios for iCAP AI v7 using real and sample business documents.
- Validate extracted data against source documents and expected output.
- Identify extraction errors, missing fields, and business rule exceptions.
- Document test results, defects, and improvement recommendations.
- Perform regression testing after system changes or prompt updates.
Prompt & Configuration Testing
- Support testing of prompts, keys, document types, and AI agent configurations.
- Compare extraction performance across different prompt versions.
- Assist in tuning prompts to improve accuracy and consistency under guidance.
- Monitor exception cases and recommend optimization opportunities.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze testing outcomes and summarize findings.
- Maintain issue and testing trackers.
- Prepare reports on extraction accuracy, testing progress, and key observations.
Documentation
- Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and testing evidence.
- Support preparation of SOPs, user guides, and training materials.
- Document lessons learned and best practices.
Candidate Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
- University student, not fresh graduate, available for at least 6 months. Full-time Monday to Friday preferred; 1-2 study off-sessions may be acceptable.
- Background in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good English communication skills.
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge of software testing or QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts such as prompts, data extraction, and document processing.
- Experience with Power Query, Power Automate, Python, or similar tools.
- Interest in AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of logistics or customs processes.
