Expert, AI Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Expert AI Engineer will play a pivotal role in leading the development of cutting-edge AI applications, specializing in the creation of RAG agentic systems and the fine-tuning of large-scale LLMs and VLMs. This role will drive the strategic direction of AI initiatives and mentor teams to develop advanced AI capabilities that solve complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development team to project delivery by providing technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Define AI strategies and work closely with business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions align with organizational goals.
- Design and optimization of AI models for scalability, performance, and efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and senior AI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Conduct deep research and development to explore new AI technologies and methodologies.
- Oversee the integration of AI solutions with existing business systems and processes, ensuring smooth deployment and operation.
- Collaborate with leaderships to define the AI vision and roadmap for the organization.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s or PhD’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in AI and 2 years in management position.
Technical Skills:
Programming: Expert-level proficiency in Python.
Frameworks: Advanced expertise in PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers.
Libraries: Comprehensive experience with LangChain API, LLamaIndex, and database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ChromaDB, VespaDB, etc.).
Deployment: Extensive experience with microservices, Docker, and scalable inference endpoint optimization.
Cloud: Deep knowledge of AWS ecosystem, including AWS SageMaker, CDK, and ECS.
Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
