I. About The Role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to partner with our client in designing and delivering AI-powered solutions for complex business challenges.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with business stakeholders, understand real-world problems, rapidly prototype AI solutions, and lead the development of production-grade applications. This role combines strong software engineering expertise with consulting, solution design, and cross-functional collaboration.

II. What You’ll Do

• Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, prototype, and deliver AI-powered applications using modern GenAI technologies.
• Build production-ready software leveraging LLMs, AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI frameworks such as LangChain.
• Lead projects from discovery and solution design through implementation and production deployment.
• Develop high-quality backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for structured and time-series datasets.
• Ensure software quality through testing, version control, monitoring, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and business teams throughout the software lifecycle.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on complex initiatives.

III. What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience delivering production software systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with:, Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents. RAG, LangChain or similar AI orchestration frameworks
• Strong Python programming skills with modern data science and AI libraries.
• Experience working with SQL, APIs, structured data, and time-series data.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, version control, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• Experience leading engineering workstreams from concept through production.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Financial Services, Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or FinTech, familiarity with Fixed Income, Rates, Derivatives, or Pricing.
• Quantitative background in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines is a big plus

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:30 AM – 06:00 PM (with a 1.5-hour lunch break).
