Job description
Trusting Social is an AI Fintech pioneer that's revolutionizing credit access in emerging markets. Our mission is "Advancing AI to Meet the Financial Needs of Everyday Consumers with Empathy." We've assessed over 1 billion consumers across four countries, and we're on a mission to provide 100 million credit lines using the power of AI and Big Data.
How You'll Make an Impact
Join Trusting Social as a Full-Stack AI Engineer II and help build products that are transforming financial services in Vietnam and beyond. You will contribute to our Co-Lending partnership initiatives, building systems across the full stack (backend, web and mobile) that enable fast, scalable credit evaluation and secure integration with banks, partners, and third-party platforms.
Your work will help power instant registration, real-time credit approval, and automated decisioning at scale. As an Engineer II, you deliver features end-to-end within a defined scope with increasing autonomy, working AI-native and broadening your skills across the full stack as you grow
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality features end-to-end across the full stack (backend, web, mobile), working with cross-functional teams and ensuring systems are reliable, highly scalable, and fault-tolerant.
- Work AI-native, orchestrating agents: frame the problem for the agent, delegate the implementation, run multiple agent sessions per day, and spend your own time on direction, quality review, and the hard edge cases.
- Build and maintain the tests, evals, and harnesses that agents depend on, so the system stays legible and reliable.
- Follow Agile/DevOps and CI/CD to deliver quality code at speed.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges within your scope with increasing autonomy.
- Support and mentor new joiners, and share knowledge that raises team productivity.
- Continuously learn and stay current with advances in software engineering and AI technologies.
- Perform other work duties as assigned by the line manager.
Beyond the core
These are the dimensions we grow our engineers into — and it's a plus if you already operate in one or more of them:
- Domain expert & architect: learn a relevant partner/product area and encode its rules into reusable skills and docs that others and AI agents can reuse; contribute product and design judgment, not just implementation.
- Platform & operations owner: operate and monitor agent-assisted systems in production, holding the bar on reliability, security, and quality at the integration boundary.
- Partner-facing engineer: manage trust at the partner/client boundary within your scope, and communicate clearly across functions.
