ABOUT TEENCARE AI

TeenCare AI is building an AI-powered Parenting Intelligence platform that helps parents better understand, guide, and support their teenagers. We're looking for a Head of AI to lead our AI function and build capabilities that directly impact our product, users, and business.

THE ROLE

As Head of AI, you'll own TeenCare's AI strategy, architecture, technical direction, and team — working closely with founders, Product, and Engineering to turn AI opportunities into scalable products.

• Strategy & Leadership: define the AI roadmap, identify high-impact use cases across Product/Revenue/Operations, lead architecture, build and lead the AI engineering team.
• Hands-on Engineering: write production code yourself, build/prototype LLM, GenAI & Agent systems, implement RAG pipelines, agentic workflows and evaluation systems, work directly with APIs, models, vector stores and cloud infra, run code reviews.
• Product Development: partner with PMs and Engineers to ship AI into parenting recommendations, family diagnosis, personalization, mentor support, sales/call intelligence, lead scoring, customer support, and internal automation.
• Evaluation & Quality: build measurable evaluation frameworks; monitor accuracy, hallucination, relevance, latency, safety, and cost; drive continuous improvement feedback loops.

The ideal candidate: 70% Builder + 20% Leader + 10% Strategist — someone who doesn't just tell the team what to build, but sits down and builds it.

Yêu cầu công việc:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Manager-level position or above within an EdTech company.
• 8+ years in Software Engineering, AI/ML, or a closely related technical field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI Agents — still comfortable writing code.
AI-native products 0
• 1, OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini experience, multi-agent systems, AI evaluation & observability, EdTech/Parenting/Behavioral Science domain, startup experience
• Proven experience taking AI systems from prototype to production.
• Strong with Python and/or Node.js, LLM APIs, RAG, vector databases, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, model evaluation, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
• Solid software architecture judgment; experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Able to balance technical excellence, product value, speed, and business impact.
