Principal Full-Stack Engineer – AI Orchestration (English Fluent)

About this role

• We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (React, Node & AI) who is passionate about technology, performance, and building exceptional user experiences.
• You will join a global, distributed engineering team working on the core of our platform, where much of our users’ content is created. Stability, performance, scalability, and reliability are essential to everything we build.
• Software engineering is evolving rapidly. We are looking for someone who is not only a strong and experienced engineer, but who also knows how to use AI agents and AI-assisted workflows effectively in their daily work.
• You should be comfortable using AI to accelerate development, investigate complex problems, manage large amounts of context, and work across multiple streams while maintaining a high standard of quality.

What You’ll Do

• Build and deliver end-to-end features that support our recording and live-call experiences.
• Design, maintain, and evolve scalable services, APIs, and product architecture.
• Prototype ideas quickly, iterate based on feedback, and deliver meaningful product impact.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Growth, and Engineering teams to continuously improve the user experience.
• Use data, monitoring, observability, and investigation tools to support technical and product decisions.
• Use AI tools and agents throughout the engineering lifecycle, including coding, architecture, debugging, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, technical investigation, and code review.
• Manage multiple AI-assisted tasks or agents in parallel by delegating effectively, preserving context, validating outputs, and integrating results into production-quality solutions.
• Make pragmatic engineering decisions that balance delivery speed with maintainability, scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering practices, internal tools, automation, and AI-assisted workflows.

Your skills and experience:

• Excellent English communication (equivalent to C1 or IELTS 7.0), collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Core Tech Stack Proficiency: 8+ years of software development experience with deep expertise in TypeScript, React, Node.js/Nest.js, and RESTful APIs.
• Senior Backend Depth (Crucial): Comfortable in a 4–5/5 self-assessment on backend concepts to be competitive.
• Event-Driven Architecture & Databases: Deep expertise in NoSQL data modeling , message brokers ( Kafka ), and operating self-hosted MongoDB with replica sets and sharding .
• High-Concurrency & Real-Time Systems: Proven experience with WebSockets / at scale and horizontal scaling strategies.
• AI-Native Engineering Mastery:

- Able to orchestrate multiple AI agents and context-switch across concurrent tasks in daily development.

- Practical experience with agent memory / persistent-context tooling and structured onboarding docs (e.g., -style agent context files).

- Strong fluency using AI as a daily engineering multiplier — for coding, architecture, troubleshooting, investigation, test creation, documentation, and code review.

• Engineering Judgment: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience, with a continuous improvement mindset and strong product/technical judgment.
• Distributed Team & Communication : Proven experience working in remote teams with excellent communication and teamwork in English.
• Experienced with WebSockets, WebRTC, MediaStream, and browser APIs for audio/video.
• AI Orchestration & Context Switching: Strong hands-on experience in AI orchestration frameworks, with proven ability to seamlessly context-switch across complex technical domains and multitask in a fast-paced environment
