I. What You’ll Do
- The Cloud & AI Solution Engineer is the hands-on builder of the Solution Consulting Department. The role is deep in cloud, platform and DevSecOps engineering and back-end engineering, and turns the Solution Architect’s designs into working software: secure, scalable platforms and the AI-powered solutions that run and demonstrate on them.
- The role is build-led. It produces reusable, demo-ready assets (prototypes and reference solutions) and supports presales demos, PoCs and internal enablement with stable, repeatable platforms. It does not lead customer-facing presales or hold solution authority. Those stay with the Solution Architect, the Solution Consultant and S&M.
1. Cloud, Platform & DevSecOps
- Build, deploy, and operate cloud-native platforms and AI infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments (AWS and Azure).
- Containerize and automate with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
- Ensure observability, reliability, security and cost control; apply DevSecOps (secrets, IAM/RBAC, scanning, auditability)
2. Back-end Engineering & Integration
- Build back-end services and integrations: APIs, microservices and event-driven design.
- Package solutions into reusable blueprints, reference architectures and demo-ready assets
3. Data Engineering
- Build data pipelines and stores, including vector and graph databases for RAG / GraphRAG and semantic search.
- Enforce data isolation and access control for AI workloads.
4. AI Solution Engineering
- Build AI-powered solutions as API-first services: RAG / GraphRAG, agentic workflows (tool calling, memory), MCP and multi-modal.
- Integrate and serve LLMs with attention to security, observability and cost.
5. Enablement & Standards
- Produce technical implementation documentation, deployment guides, operational runbooks, and handover documentation based on the approved solution architecture to ensure maintainability, knowledge transfer, and operational continuity
- Support presales demos, PoCs and internal enablement through stable, repeatable platforms.
- Uphold engineering standards and mentor engineers.
II. Job Qualifications
1. Must-have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience at Senior/Architect level.
- At least 5 to 7 years’ professional experience, at senior to architect level, in cloud, platform / DevSecOps and back-end engineering.
- Strong expertise in Cloud, Platform & DevSecOps, and Back-end Engineering, with solid working knowledge of Data and AI Engineering.
- Experience with operating systems across on-premises and public cloud environments;
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure, including compute, networking, identity & access management, managed services, and cloud cost optimization.
- Strong experience building and operating cloud platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Grafana, Vault, IAM/RBAC, and Trivy.
- Strong back-end development experience with Python (preferably FastAPI), REST/gRPC APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Data Engineering technologies such as Airflow, Spark, Snowflake, BigQuery, pgvector, Pinecone, or Neo4j.
- Experience using Git and AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) as part of modern software engineering practices.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation (architecture, runbooks, handover documents) and communicate effectively in English.
2. Nice-to-have
- AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKA).
- Experience with GCP and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
- Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-powered applications using Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG/GraphRAG, MCP, agentic workflows, or vLLM.
- Familiarity with AI observability and AI security practices, including data isolation and access control.
- Experience with Specification-Driven Development (SDD) frameworks such as BMAD Method or GitHub Spec Kit.
- Experience contributing to or adopting open-source technologies and communities.
- Experience mentoring engineers or establishing engineering standards and best practices.
