Job Description

You’ll work on projects that use AI agents and automation to support real-world IT Operations, assisting the AI Builders and Product Managers in developing agents that can diagnose issues, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency. These agents may include network diagnostic agents, vulnerability management workflow agents, and knowledge base creation agents that help teams respond faster and make better-informed decisions. You’ll also help to fine-tune and enhance existing AI agents based on real project issues, operational feedback, and client requirements.

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to how AI solutions are tested, improved, and adapted for practical use, including refining agent responses, improving workflows, and supporting validation activities. You’ll be involved in the implementation and deployment of AI agents and use cases across projects for government agencies and enterprise clients. This will give you the opportunity to observe real project delivery, collaborate with product and technical teams, and contribute to solutions that support more reliable, efficient, and scalable IT Operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Sunshine.Ops AI Builders and Product Managers in developing, testing, and improving AI agents for IT Operations.
• Gain hands-on experience in AI solution development, workflow automation, technical analysis, and project delivery.
• Contribute to AI agents supporting use cases such as network diagnostics, vulnerability management, and knowledge base generation.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Development

• Assist in building and configuring AI agents for IT Operations.
• Support the development of AI workflows, prompts, knowledge sources, and automation logic.
• Test AI agent outputs, identify issues, document findings, and recommend improvements.
• Assist in fine-tuning and enhancing AI agents based on project feedback and operational needs.
• Prepare and organise knowledge base content, including technical documents, incident records, and operational information.

Project Delivery & Operations

• Collaborate with AI Builders, Product Managers, and project teams to understand user requirements and operational challenges.
• Assist in validating AI agent use cases for government agencies and enterprise clients.
• Support deployment activities, user acceptance testing, issue tracking, and project progress updates.
• Document workflows, test results, observations, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.

Role Flexibility

• Contribute across different stages of AI agent development, including ideation, prototyping, testing, deployment, and enhancement.
• Take on responsibilities as an AI solution support intern, product analyst, tester, or project coordinator, depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting, preferably Python.
• Interest in AI agent development, Generative AI, workflow automation, and IT Operations.
• Familiarity with APIs, prompt engineering, data handling, automation tools, or cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, or vulnerability management is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and issue tracking for AI agents and workflows.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new tools and technologies.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain findings and ask relevant questions.
• Able to collaborate effectively with AI Builders, Product Managers, and cross-functional project teams.
• Keen to gain hands-on experience in AI solution development, automation, IT Operations, and real-world project delivery
