Mid-level UX Designer responsible for crafting intuitive, user-centered experiences across web and mobile for the Quality Realty Marketplace (QRM) and its resellable AI-native Marketplace Platform (ANMP). You will make complex, AI-driven real estate features—such as voice-first interactions with the Grok-powered “Q” agent, price predictions, vendor matching, workflows, and CRM tasks—simple, engaging, fast, and trustworthy for Dutch realtors, vendors, and clients in a multilingual environment (Dutch & English at launch, expandable).
Platform UX scope (aligned with CTO, Tech Lead)
-
Long-term web (admin + marketplace): React/Next.js — primary web design target.
-
Mobile: Flutter (iOS & Android only) — not Flutter Web for admin.
-
Interim production: WordPress admin screens and AI Flow / prompt UIs still in use during handover — design improvements and specs where needed.
-
Embeds: third-party sites keep lightweight qr-widget.js — occasional UX input, not full app design.
Current engineering phase
Live users run on the WordPress plugin today; we migrate experience gradually to Next.js and Flutter mobile without breaking tenant workflows.
About Quality Realty (QR)
Quality Realty is an early-stage AI-native SaaS startup building the future of real estate transactions in the Netherlands. We are developing Quality Realty Marketplace (QRM) — a voice-first, multilingual platform that connects realtors, clients, and service vendors (painters, movers, stagers, energy auditors, etc.) throughout the entire home buying, selling, and rental process.
At its core is the AI Native Marketplace Platform (ANMP) — a fully resellable, white-label, multi-tenant marketplace operating system. QR is the first vertical (Dutch real estate), designed from day one to power other local-service marketplaces worldwide.
Key responsibilities
-
Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing, field observations) to understand Dutch real estate users: realtors on the go, clients during viewings, and vendors handling service requests.
-
Develop personas, journey maps, task flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma for voice-first and visual fallback experiences.
-
Design React/Next.js web interfaces (admin portal, marketplace flows): responsive layouts, components, and micro-interactions with clear developer handoff (design tokens, specs, Figma Dev Mode).
-
Design Flutter mobile screens and flows in coordination with the Junior Flutter Developer — patterns that map cleanly to Flutter widgets without assuming Flutter Web for admin.
-
Support interim WordPress admin and AI prompt / AI Flow screen improvements (per product backlog): usable specs for PHP/admin implementation until those flows move to Next.js.
-
Build and evolve a scalable design system (UI kit, typography, color, icons, motion) supporting Dutch/English, WCAG 2.1+, and tenant white-label branding across web and mobile.
-
Collaborate with the Tech Lead, BA, Middle Full-stack Developer, Junior Flutter Developer, and CTO to iterate on technical constraints, user feedback, and AI features (e.g. confidence intervals on valuations, voice transcript previews, vendor match cards, workflow progress, “AI estimate” disclaimers).
-
Plan and run usability testing, A/B tests, and heuristic reviews on prototypes and live features.
-
Ensure designs fit Dutch user expectations (clarity, transparency, privacy indicators, low cognitive load).
-
Apply accessibility (WCAG AA, screen readers where applicable) and voice-first principles (minimal clutter, clear visual support for audio).
-
Proactively suggest UX improvements for onboarding, trust in AI outputs, and conversion.
-
Document decisions, maintain style guides and component libraries; join design reviews and sprint planning.
