Data Engineer II

With an AI-first vision, MoMo’s data organization is scaling for many people, each with their own data needs. Within AI & CreditTech, the Data is the backbone for MoMo's lending, credit risk, recovery, and decisioning products. The team’s mission is to build the platform that makes their data's life easy: reliable pipelines, trustworthy risk-critical data, and self-service tools that let every credit and lending team move fast.

• Cooperate with data stakeholders to define data models that fit their needs.
• Develop batch and real-time data pipelines that feed our hungry Data Consumers (Data Analysts, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Risk) that power credit scoring, fraud detection, lending decisions, and recovery to a high standard of reliability and quality.
• Monitor and maintain the data platform ecosystem to ensure the committed data SLAs with our Data Consumers.
• Develop services and tools that enable data discovery across MoMo.
• Develop services and tools for data observability and quality, so risk-critical credit data can be trusted before it drives a lending decision.
• Contribute to the design of our lending data lake and warehouse.

Yêu cầu công việc

• At least 2 years as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer, with fluency in a backend language such as Java, Go, Python, or Kotlin. Interest in financial, credit, or risk data is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Spark and Docker.
• Strong engineering foundations: OOP, functional programming, and data structures.
• Experience with database systems (RDBMS and NoSQL): you can read and understand a pile of SQL from data consumers and help them find solutions to their problems.
• Solid problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration skills: you reach out to help other team members.
