Industrial Designer

About Us: VinMotion is at the forefront of robotics innovation, developing advanced humanoid robots for various applications. We are looking for a talented Industrial Designer to shape the visual identity, styling, and user-centered design of our humanoid robots, ensuring they are both aesthetically distinctive and functionally practical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and apply new design technologies in humanoid robot development.
• Generate creative styling concepts for humanoid robots and assigned products.
• Produce 2D sketches (hand sketching and digital sketching with Wacom) and hand over to 3D modeling teams.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on material selection, color, ergonomics, and structure optimization.
• Work with cross-functional teams to turn selected concepts into prototypes.
• Support building intellectual property documentation for robot designs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in product styling (robotics, automotive, or consumer electronics preferred).
• Proficiency in 3D design software (Alias preferred, CATIA, NX, Keyshot) and graphic tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Wacom).
• Good command of English for technical documents and communication.
• Strong creativity, communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, with good ethics and professional attitude.
• Knowledge of 5S, ISO9001-2015, IATF16949 is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in humanoid robot design projects.
