JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Technopark, Gia Lam, Hanoi.

About the Role

VinMotion is looking for a versatile UI/UX & Digital Designer to shape the visual identity of our brand and the user experience of our software. You will be the creative force behind our public-facing website, our marketing collateral, and the web interfaces of our web application including Robot Management System (RMS), Robot Operator Application.

We need a rapid visual problem-solver who embraces modern workflows. You will utilize generative AI tools alongside traditional design software to quickly translate abstract requirements into interactive prototypes, and then refine them into rigorous, developer-ready specifications. Whether you are crafting a high-tech narrative with scrolling video animations for our homepage, or mapping out complex UI states for our robotics dashboard so our engineering team can build it without ambiguity, you will ensure VinMotion looks as advanced as the technology we build.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Requirements & Developer Handoff

  • AI-Accelerated Workflow: Leverage modern AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Figma AI) to rapidly ideate layouts, generate placeholder assets, and streamline the early phases of wireframing and prototyping.
  • Clear Design Specifications: Translate abstract product requirements into highly detailed, documented design specs. You will map out edge cases, define interaction logic, and document component behaviors to minimize ambiguity for the engineering team.
  • Standardized Handoff: Output finalized designs in industry-standard developer handoff formats (e.g., highly organized Figma files utilizing design tokens, auto-layout, and clearly defined component states).
  • Rapid Prototyping: Quickly generate wireframes, low-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes to validate concepts with stakeholders, test user flows, and facilitate faster design iterations before development begins.

Web Design & Visual Storytelling

  • High-Tech Web Experiences: Design fluid, modern, and mobile-responsive web pages that reflect the sleek, cutting-edge nature of the robotics industry.
  • Multimedia Integration: Utilize animation, looping video, and high-quality imagery to build compelling, narrative-driven "hero" sections and scroll-triggered storytelling experiences on the web.
  • Web Application UX: Design intuitive, modern user interfaces for our complex web applications (like the Robot Management System), balancing dense data visualization with clean aesthetics.

Brand & Marketing Collateral

  • Social Media & Teasers: Design impactful visual collateral including social media posters, promotional graphics, and short video teasers to build hype around our robotics platforms.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve a cohesive visual identity across entirely different mediums—from an Instagram graphic to the company homepage to the internal software dashboard.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Experience: 3+ years of digital design or UI/UX experience, ideally in an agency setting or in-house at a high-tech, hardware, SaaS, or robotics company.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating modern web design, complex UI/UX workflows, and the use of video/animation for digital storytelling. (Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • UI/UX & Prototyping: Expert-level proficiency in Figma (including components, auto-layout, variables/tokens, and advanced prototyping) for rapid iteration and clean developer handoff.
  • AI & Design Tooling: Practical experience integrating generative AI into the design process to speed up asset creation and layout generation, alongside standard proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and motion graphics tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Technical Communication: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern web constraints to effectively collaborate with developers and optimize assets for web performance

Bonus / "Nice-to-Haves"

  • Experience with 3D web design tools (like Spline) or a basic understanding of WebGL/Three.js capabilities.
