AUTOMATED TEST ENGINEER (Cables)

Location: Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen (Daily Bus from Hanoi, Hai Duong & Bac Ninh)

Today, we are expanding with a new high-tech facility in Thang Long II Industrial Park, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m². This state-of-the-art site will produce advanced products, including high-speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.


What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain high-speed automated test systems used across global manufacturing sites (China, Philippines, India, Mexico).
  • Perform electrical testing for high-speed cable assemblies (Ethernet, PCIe, SAS, etc.), analyze data and identify root causes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, product) to improve test solutions and product quality.
  • Design and integrate test systems, including fixtures, PCBs, hardware, and software.
  • Create test plans, perform validation, troubleshoot failures, and document results.
  • Prepare technical documents, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Support quality and continuous improvement activities aligned with Molex standards.


What You Bring

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Computer or related).

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years in test & measurement or related field.
  • Exposure to high-speed testing or manufacturing environment is a plus.

Skills

  • Basic programming skills (Python).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Good communication skills to work with global teams.
  • Familiar with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with C/C++ / C# / .NET.
  • Knowledge of RF/high-speed testing (oscilloscopes, TDR, network analyzers…).
  • Understanding of signal integrity (eye diagram, jitter, impedance…).
  • Experience with databases (SQL/MySQL), PCB design or simulation tools.
  • Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
