Our client is a leading technology company with a strong presence across Southeast Asia, delivering innovative digital solutions at scale. They are looking for a Backend Engineer to join a team focused on building internal financial platforms that automate and optimize finance operations.

About the role

As a Backend Engineer , you will play a key role in developing software solutions that automate and streamline financial processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining core components of financial applications while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance systems.

Role Description

• Design, develop, and maintain key components of financial applications, including SDKs, CI/CD pipelines, daemons, and backend services.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers to ensure seamless integration between backend services and user-facing applications.
• Collect and analyze user feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to feature enhancements.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to ensure system stability, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• From 4 years of experience in backend software development.
• Hands-on experience with Java , Golang , Python , MySQL , and AWS services.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good verbal communication skills in English (mandatory).
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
