CAM PROGRAMMING ENGINEER

• Job Description
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
• Develop machining strategies for milling, turning, and multi-axis machining.
• Generate toolpaths and conduct simulations to ensure manufacturability and machine efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing CNC programs to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Develop manufacturing processes, work instructions, and machining methods.
• Define cutting parameters, tooling, fixtures, and machining sequences.
• Conduct cycle time analysis and implement process optimization.
• Support production start-up, machine setup, FAI, and process validation.
• Collaborate with Tooling Engineers to design and improve jigs and fixtures.
• Evaluate cutting tools and machining accessories and recommend tooling improvements to reduce costs and improve machine utilization.
• Provide technical support to CNC Operators and Production teams.
• Investigate machining issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as cycle time, scrap rate, and machine utilization.
• Maintain CNC program libraries, revision control, setup sheets, and technical documentation.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality, safety, and customer requirements.
  
• Requirements
• College degree in Engineering required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience as a CAM/CNC Engineer in a similar industry or mold-making industry.
• Proficient in Mastercam.
• Experience in composite part trimming is preferred.
• Good knowledge of GD&T and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good command of English, with strong ability to read and understand technical documents.
  
• Benefits
• Salary: 20–25 million VND gross/month.
• Working schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:20 AM – 4:48 PM (finish at 4:00 PM on Fridays).
• Company shuttle bus from Bien Hoa, Thu Duc (Cantavil/Crossroad), and Ba Ria.
• Year-end bonus: 13 salary month (fixed)
• 12 days of annual leave per year.
• Social Insurance based on 70% of the total salary package after successful completion of the probation period.
