Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Infrastructure Automation . The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, automate, monitor, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure and DevOps platforms. This role focuses on cloud automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, cloud operations, and security best practices while ensuring highly scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on AWS cloud architecture, DevOps best practices, and infrastructure automation.
• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure AWS infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation .
• Build, optimize, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployment.
• Automate cloud provisioning, configuration management, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with Security and Architecture teams to ensure cloud environments comply with security standards and governance policies.
• Implement cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and performance issues across cloud environments.
• Continuously improve cloud reliability, scalability, cost optimization, and deployment efficiency.
• Support hybrid infrastructure integration when required.

Skill Sets

• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (preferred) or AWS CloudFormation .
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline .
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible .
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred) .
• Strong scripting skills ( Bash, Python, PowerShell ).
• Strong Linux system administration experience.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals ( DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, Load Balancer, VPC, VPN, Security Groups, IAM ).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog , or similar.
• Experience implementing DevOps automation and operational best practices.
• Knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Fluent in English

 

Preferred

• Experience with hybrid cloud or on-premises integration.
• Experience with AWS security, IAM, governance, and cloud compliance.
• Experience with cost optimization (FinOps).
• Technical documentation skills.
