Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure

• Design and provision cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation).
• Build secure, scalable network architectures: VPCs/VNets, subnets, security groups/NSGs, load balancers, DNS, and private endpoints.
• Manage compute, storage, and database services (EC2/VMs, ECS/AKS/EKS, S3/Blob, RDS/Azure SQL, etc.) with cost and performance in mind.
• Implement cloud security baselines: IAM/Entra ID, secrets management (Secrets Manager, Key Vault), encryption, and least-privilege access.
• Monitor cloud spend and apply right-sizing, tagging, and FinOps practices.

CI/CD & DevOps Engineering

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across multiple environments (dev, staging, production).
• Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate using Kubernetes (EKS, AKS) or container services (ECS, App Service).
• Implement deployment strategies: blue-green, canary, rolling, and feature-flag-driven releases.
• Set up observability: logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, Grafana, or similar.

Collaboration & Operational Excellence

• Work closely with developers, QEs, and architects from project kickoff through production operations.
• Document infrastructure, runbooks, and incident response procedures for both internal teams and clients.
• Participate in on-call rotation for production support and incident response (where applicable).
• Communicate clearly with both technical and client stakeholders, including non-Vietnamese-speaking clients.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Cloud/DevOps engineering experience in a delivery or product environment.
• Hands-on experience with both AWS and Azure (at least 1-2 years primary experience in one, working knowledge of the other).
• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills with Terraform (preferred), Bicep, ARM, or CloudFormation.
• Solid CI/CD experience with at least one platform: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of containers: Docker fundamentals and Kubernetes basics (deploy, scale, troubleshoot).
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation tasks.
• Linux administration fundamentals and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, load balancing).
• Git workflows, branching strategies, and code review practices.
• English communication: able to read documentation, write clear technical docs, and join client meetings (intermediate – upper-intermediate).
