Job Description

We are seeking an experienced E-Procurement (Ivalua) Solution Architect to join our team in Singapore. This role will primarily focus on delivery and billable project work while providing pre-sales solution design and tender support for Government, Telecommunications, and Enterprise clients across Singapore and Australia markets.

As an Ivalua Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering procurement solutions that drive business value for our clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, client stakeholders, and our regional delivery centres to ensure successful project outcomes.

What will you do?

Solution Delivery (Primary Focus)

Project Implementation & Architecture

Lead the design and implementation of Ivalua procurement and supply chain solutions for Government, Telecommunications, and Enterprise clients
Develop detailed architectural documents, solution designs, and technical specifications that deliver measurable business value
Configure and customise Ivalua modules including Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Management, Procure-to-Pay, and Spend Analysis
Ensure solutions align with client business requirements, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance standards
Conduct system integration with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), financial systems, and third-party applications
Lead technical workshops with client teams to gather requirements, validate designs, and facilitate knowledge transfer

Quality Assurance & Delivery Excellence

Ensure deliverables consistently meet agreed quality standards, timelines, and service levels
Conduct solution testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination, and performance optimization
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolution
Document solution architecture, configuration guides, and operational procedures

Knowledge Transfer & Capability Building

Build knowledge transfer and training into delivery milestones to ensure clients can operate and maintain solutions independently
Conduct enablement sessions and workshops for client teams and internal stakeholders
Mentor junior team members and contribute to building Ivalua competency within NCS
Develop reusable components, templates, and accelerators to improve delivery efficiency

Pre-Sales & Business Development (Secondary Focus)

Solution Design & Proposal Development

Participate in pre-sales activities including client meetings, requirement gathering, and solution presentations
Develop compelling technical proposals and solution architectures that address client business challenges
Estimate effort, resources, and timelines required to deliver proposed solutions
Articulate solution alternatives in terms of cost, benefit, and risk where multiple options exist
Conduct Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate technical feasibility and showcase NCS capabilities

Tender & Bid Support

Review and respond to tender specifications and RFPs for E-Procurement-related opportunities
Collaborate with Account Managers, Bid Managers, and internal stakeholders to develop competitive proposals
Provide technical clarifications during tender evaluation and client presentations
Support pricing and commercial discussions with accurate technical sizing and scope definition
Attend internal reviews and provide input on solution design, implementation approach, and risk mitigation

Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business goals and technology roadmaps
Engage with Ivalua product teams and partners to stay current on platform capabilities and roadmap
Identify opportunities for service expansion, solution enhancement, and business growth
Represent NCS at industry events, client forums, and Ivalua community gatherings

Qualifications

An Ideal Candidate Should Possess:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Relevant professional certifications are advantageous
Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience implementing e-procurement solutions such as Coupa, GEP, Zycus, SAP Ariba, or similar platforms.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing Ivalua, which is a mandatory requirement.
Proven track record of delivering at least 2 full lifecycle Ivalua implementations
Experience working with Government, Telecommunications, and/or Enterprise clients in Singapore, Australia, or APAC region
Strong understanding of procurement processes including Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Pay, Supplier Management, and Spend Analytics
Experience integrating Ivalua with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and other enterprise applications
Demonstrated ability to lead solution architecture, design, and delivery for complex, multi-module implementations
Ivalua L3 Functional and Technical Certified (preferred)
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10% annual travels to India (Pune) for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and delivery coordination)

Technical Skills

Ivalua Platform Expertise:
Deep knowledge of Ivalua modules: Sourcing, Contract Management, Supplier Management, Procure-to-Pay, Spend Analysis
Proficiency in Ivalua configuration, workflow design, form customization, and reporting
Experience with Ivalua integration frameworks, APIs, and data migration tools

Integration & Technical Architecture:
Strong understanding of integration patterns, middleware, and API technologies (REST, SOAP, Web Services)
Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data quality management
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud architectures

Complementary Technologies:
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP MM/PM/WM, Oracle Procurement, Microsoft Dynamics)
Understanding of database technologies (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud)

Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and geographies (Singapore, Australia, India)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Government agencies and understanding of public sector procurement regulations and compliance requirements
Knowledge of Telecommunications industry procurement processes and supply chain operations
Experience with multi-cloud environments and modern application architectures
Exposure to AI/ML technologies and their application in procurement and supply chain optimization
