JOB DESCRIPTION

Your Role

As a Project Engineer , you will play a vital role in driving product transfers, tooling initiatives, New Product Development (NPD) within our manufacturing plant. Your mission is to ensure seamless coordination between the design center and the plant, meeting project timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align schedules and action plans for NPD and product transfer projects.
  • Serve as the liaison between the design center and manufacturing plant to ensure timely product launches and project milestones.
  • Support the design, modification, and review of product designs, tooling, and machinery, while maintaining oversight of project progress.
  • Contribute to Global Costing Analysis (GCA) by identifying opportunities to enhance quality, reduce costs, and shorten lead times.
  • Drive initiatives to meet quality and delivery targets, adhering to company policies, ISO, EHS standards, and continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S and KAIZEN.

Your Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Solid understanding of Project Management, engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written), with strong planning, problem-solving, and training capabilities.
  • Experience with ISO implementation and cost analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in statistical analysis, project management, or system thinking.
  • Familiarity with SAP and quality management systems.
  • Degree in Engineering or Economics.
  • Proven ability to manage complex customer requirements and navigate ambiguity.
  • Knowledge of tooling strategy and continuous improvement practices such as Kaizen and innovation.
