JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

  • R&D Service activities (Focus on Aging Service, Sample Service + Test Service)
  • Other activities: R&D Sample Management and 5S Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Aging Service (Routine) – 30%

Operating of Walkin Aging Chamber + Espec Chamber (Routine, Maintenance, Calibration)

  • Perform routine activities: Daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly check list (incl. documentation).
  • Manage and organize the relevant Maintenance and Calibration activities of equipment and machines.
  • Manage R&D Service Package for Aging Service (Receive Order, handle the sample, create relevant documentation).
  • Manage Aging Capacity, prioritization of Aging capacity, contact with external Lab for backup aging capacity.
  • Estimate Budget, manage operating cost of aging chamber, manage purchasing activities and stock of consume material & spare parts relevant for aging service.

Aging Service (Event) – 30%

Validation, Revalidation, Verification of Walkin Aging Chamber + Espec Chamber

  • Receive requirement from QM, GTC.
  • Plan & Implementation for relevant activities (Technical possibility, budget, quality and timeline).

Improvement of Walkin Aging Chamber + Espec Chamber

  • Monitoring the performance of Aging chamber.
  • Plan & implementation for improvement of aging chamber (Technical possibility, budget, quality and timeline).
  • Sharing Expertise: Create documentation (Guideline, SOP, Work Instruction) about electromechanical knowledge relevant to the aging chambers.

Troubleshooting (Issue-Solving): Walkin Aging Chamber + Espec Chamber

  • Identify the issue.
  • Solve the issue internally.
  • Find, coordinate with external vendor or expert for issue solving if required.

Improvement of R&D Service Process (Standardization and Digitalization)

  • Standardization of R&D Service process, creating SOP, Guideline for R&D Service in alignment with other functions.
  • Digitalization R&D Service process, including Power BI and Power App systems for the equipment.

R&D Service: Sample Service and Test Service – 20%

  • Receive the sample order from Requestor.
  • Clarify the requirement, possibility, estimate timeline, cost, identify risk.
  • Manage relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate with Requestor, SCM, Warehouse for logistics (IMEX).
  • Coordinate with PMS and Production for sample production.
  • Coordinate with Controlling for cost and invoice.
  • Coordinate with Production, Requestor and relevant stakeholders when there is any issue and investigation is required.

Additional Responsibilities

RD Sample Management

  • Define and maintain RD Sample Management System (Internal warehouse in BBVN, External Warehouse via SCM, Containers of RD, Aging Chamber, gray and white area of production, and other relevant locations).
  • Manage, monitor and control periodically Inventory Stock (Audit, Counting activities).

EHS Coordinator

  • Coordinate general EHS topics (e.g. Health, Firefighting Training, SOP Training).
  • Coordinate HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) for R&D machines and equipment.

5S Coordinator

  • Organize 5S Workshops for the R&D team.
  • Follow up and monitor 5S activities of the R&D Team.

Reporting Line

Direct Report To: Manager - R&D Service Center

Qualifications

Education

Must Have

  • Bachelor with technical background.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor or Master in:
    • Thermal Engineering
    • Mechatronics
    • Civil Engineering
Working Experience

Must Have

  • More than 3 years working experience in:
    • Construction
    • Design and/or Manufacturing of HVAC systems
    • Facility, Maintenance, Engineering in industrial environments
Nice to Have

  • More than 5 years working experience in:
    • Construction
    • Design and/or Manufacturing of HVAC systems
    • Facility, Maintenance, Engineering in industrial environments
Skills

  • Effective and efficient communication with intercultural soft skills.
  • Creativeness for problem solving.
  • Intermediate English (B2) is a must; German is an advantage.
  • Project management skill. Project Management Certification is an advantage (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, etc.).
  • Power BI and Power App is a plus.
