We are seeking a Flow Assurance Engineer with strong CFD capability to join our global Production Assurance and Systems Modelling team.

This role combines flow assurance engineering with advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to support the delivery of complex upstream oil & gas projects across concept, FEED and EPC phases.

You will work on a wide range of challenges across subsea production systems, pipelines and facilities, helping clients optimise performance, manage risk and deliver robust engineering solutions.

As a Flow Assurance CFD Engineer, you will be responsible for:


  • Deliver flow assurance and CFD studies within cost, quality and schedule targets
  • Perform multiphase thermohydraulic analysis (steady state & transient) for wells, pipelines and subsea systems
  • Conduct CFD simulations including thermal, erosion and flow-induced vibration (FIV) analysis
  • Interface across subsurface, subsea and process disciplines to ensure fully integrated solutions
  • Develop and communicate engineering recommendations through high-quality reports and presentations
  • Support FEED and EPC project execution, as well as proposals and tenders



  • To be successful in this role you will:


    • Strong background in flow assurance and/or CFD within upstream oil & gas
    • Experience across concept, FEED or EPC phases
    • Solid understanding of multiphase flow, thermodynamics and hydraulics Technical Skills
    • Flow assurance tools: OLGA, PIPESIM / PipePhase, PVTSim, Multiflash, PIPENET
    • CFD tools: ANSYS Fluent/CFX, STAR-CCM+
    • Experience in hydration, wax, asphaltenes, sand or erosion challenges
    • Minimum BEng (Hons) or equivalent in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.
    • Demonstrable experience in flow assurance and CFD engineering within upstream oil and gas projects.
    • Proven experience across concept, FEED and/or EPC phases.
    • Chartered status (or working towards) preferred.
