We are looking for a Full-stack Developer with strong experience in Vue.js and Java/Spring Boot , who is comfortable working with .NET and integration technologies.

You will be responsible for developing scalable web applications and APIs supporting core insurance and financial services workflows , while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, component-driven user interfaces using Vue.js , following UX standards and established design systems.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and business logic using Java/Spring Boot, IBM App Connect and/or .NET.
• Develop solutions supporting insurance workflows including policy management, claims processing, premium-related processes, and customer data management .
• Implement proper validation, error handling, security controls, and coding standards for financial data and regulated environments.
• Work with Docker and containerised application deployments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines , environment configuration, and deployment activities.
• Develop unit and integration tests and maintain appropriate test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation and actively contribute to knowledge sharing across development squads.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, Product Owners and other technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support junior developers and contribute to continuous technical improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Full-stack Development.
• Strong proficiency in Vue.js , including:
• Vue Components
• Vuex / Pinia
• Vue Router
• Composables
• Solid experience with Java / Spring Boot .
• Good understanding of RESTful API design , including API versioning, error contracts and Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
• Familiarity with .NET Core , including middleware patterns and hosted services.
• Understanding of Microservices Architecture , service boundaries, API contracts and distributed system patterns.
• Practical experience with Docker and containerised applications.
• Experience working with relational databases such as:
• PostgreSQL
• IBM DB2
• MS SQL Server
• or equivalent
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to write efficient queries.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows and collaborative coding practices.
• Experience writing automated tests:
• JUnit / Mockito for backend
• Vitest / Jest for frontend
• Understanding of test coverage and quality gates within CI pipelines.
• Awareness of secure coding practices, particularly for applications handling financial/customer data.
• Experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or similar integration middleware.
• Experience in Insurance, Banking, Fintech or other regulated financial services .
• Knowledge of messaging/event-driven technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ .
• Experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
• Understanding of insurance concepts such as policy lifecycle, premium calculation and claims processing .
• Relevant technical certifications such as Cloud or Developer certifications.
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adopt emerging technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies .
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Willingness to mentor and support junior team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality code and documentation.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to translate end-user requirements into practical and intuitive software solutions.
• Basic project management skills, with the ability to independently manage small-to-medium technical scopes, track progress, identify risks and communicate status.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology , or a related field.
• Equivalent practical experience demonstrating the required technical capability will also be considered.
• Professional English proficiency for technical documentation, cross-team communication and Agile/Scrum meetings.
• Prior experience in Insurance, Banking or Financial Services is an advantage.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
