Fullstack Javascript Developer (Middle)

Job Description

• Short term:
• Develop and maintain business features using Google Sheets, Google Apps Script (JavaScript), and Java.
• Review, maintain, and optimize existing code.
• Develop new features and troubleshoot user-reported issues.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver enhancements and bug fixes.
• Long term:
• Participate in migrating the current tool from Google Sheets to a Web Application using Next.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle under the guidance of senior developers.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, WebSocket-based features, and integrations with third-party services.
• Work closely with Senior Developers to design, implement, and maintain database schemas and SQL queries.
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, accessible, and high-performance web interfaces.
• Identify and fix bugs, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure application stability and maintainability.
  

Requirements

• Experience:
• 3–6 years of professional software development experience.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic performance or personal projects are welcome to apply.
  
  

• Core Skills:
• Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
• Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern web development concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  
  

• Frameworks:
• Familiarity with Node.js, NestJS, ReactJS, and/or Next.js.
• Experience with Google Apps Script is a plus.
  
  

• Database:
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Ability to write SQL queries and understand database design fundamentals.
  
  

• Version Control:
• Familiar with Git (GitHub/GitLab) for source code management and collaboration.
  
  

• Technical Knowledge:
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL concepts, and JSON data handling.
• Willingness to learn modern web technologies and software development best practices.
  
  

• Soft Skills:
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eager to learn and continuously improve technical skills.
• Intermediate English communication skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
