Job Purpose

The Project Implementation Manager is responsible for planning, monitoring, coordinating, and controlling investment, construction, production line installation, technology equipment, and continuous improvement projects to ensure successful delivery within the approved scope, schedule, quality, and budget.

The role works closely with internal departments, contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, minimize risks, and maximize project performance.

Key Responsibilities A. Project Planning & Schedule Management
  • Develop, maintain, and update the overall Master Schedule for assigned projects.
  • Establish and monitor key project milestones.
  • Track project progress throughout engineering, procurement, manufacturing, transportation, installation, commissioning, and final acceptance.
  • Identify potential risks affecting schedule, cost, or quality.
  • Recommend corrective actions and recovery plans when required.
B. Project Coordination
  • Act as the primary coordinator among internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Organize and facilitate regular project meetings.
  • Monitor and follow up on project action items.
  • Support the resolution of issues arising during project execution.
C. Contractor & Supplier Management
  • Monitor contractors' and suppliers' project performance and progress.
  • Verify the readiness of equipment, materials, and manpower.
  • Coordinate quality inspections and delivery schedule evaluations.
  • Support equipment commissioning, testing, and acceptance activities.
D. Materials, Equipment & Resource Control
  • Monitor the availability and readiness of project materials and equipment.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics teams to ensure the timely delivery of machinery, equipment, and raw materials.
E. Risk & Change Management
  • Develop and maintain the Project Risk Register.
  • Monitor changes related to project scope, schedule, and cost.
  • Assess the impact of changes on project objectives.
  • Recommend mitigation and contingency plans.
F. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for Management.
  • Maintain and update project dashboards.
  • Participate in developing and improving project management procedures.
  • Ensure proper documentation and project record management in compliance with company requirements.
Qualifications & Experience Education

Bachelor's degree or above in one of the following disciplines:

  • Project Management
  • Engineering
  • Economics
  • Or other related fields
Experience
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Industrial Project Management
  • Manufacturing Plant Implementation
  • Industrial Construction & Investment Projects
  • Industrial Manufacturing
  • Proven experience leading medium- to large-scale investment projects or production line installation projects.
  • Hands-on experience working with:
  • EPC Contractors
  • Suppliers & Vendors
  • Engineering, Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams
Professional Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of the Project Management Life Cycle .
  • Solid knowledge of:

Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint .
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent project scheduling software.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under high-pressure environments.
Language
  • Fluent in English or Chinese (spoken and written).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, engineering standards, and project documentation.
