The Opportunity: Build the Future of Cloud-Native Enterprise Platforms

Join a long-term global product developed for a leading international company. You'll build and enhance enterprise-grade backend applications, contributing to scalable cloud-native services that power business-critical solutions used by organizations worldwide. Responsibilities

Perform hands-on coding and code review as other peer developers as needed
Understand the requirements of the customer or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with this
Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based backend services using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with Azure/AWS cloud services (e.g., ECS, Lambda, SQS, RDS, or similar) as required by the project
Build, deploy and maintain applications across development, staging, and production environments using AWS services and CI/CD pipelines
Participate in Agile/Scrum activities: daily standup, demo session, retrospective, estimate, and planning, etc
Perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

For Senior level:

Implement the data processing flow to handle large data files on AWS using AWS S3, AWS Lambda, AWS EC2, AWS OpenSearch, and AWS SSM.
Deploy the existing service to a Kubernetes cluster in another region using GitHub Actions and Helm.
Deploy/Monitor/Troubleshoot issues for Analytics service on AWS ECS.
Troubleshoot deployment issues on K8s, AWS.
Provide mentoring/training for junior members if any.

General requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least an intermediate English communication skills (both verbal & written).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Growth mindset, proactive attitude, and commitment to learning new technologies.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in Agile/Scrum teams.

Technical requirements:

For Senior level:

Likely having 5+ years of experience.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Strong experience with Java web technologies, including Spring (Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Boot) and ORM frameworks (JPA, Hibernate).
Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
Strong experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps practices for cloud-based applications.
Hands-on experience with Docker, K8s (Kubernetes), including application deployment, troubleshooting, and cluster operations.
Experience with database design and SQL (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
Competent in software development processes and agile development practices.

For Junior level:

Likely having 3+ years of experience (flexible depending on how fast your learning and technical developing capabilities are).
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Strong experience with Java web technologies: Spring (Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Boot) and ORM frameworks (JPA, Hibernate).
Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud environments.

Nice to have:

Experience working with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform) and deployment tools such as GitHub Actions/Helm.
Experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and front-end frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, Angular, VueJS, KnockoutJS).
Experience with large-scale web-based applications, setting up CI/CD pipelines and web security issues.
Proficient daily use of AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) across the full SDLC.
Able to decompose complex tasks, provide effective context, and apply chain-of-thought and multi-step prompting workflows.
Experience with agentic workflows and AI-driven development frameworks.
Hands-on experience integrating AI tools with other systems via MCP (Model Context Protocol) or equivalent.
Awareness of emerging AI tools and willingness to evaluate and adopt new capabilities.
