Junior Forward Deployed Engineer (Software)

Location: Hybrid (Half day on-site) – HCMC (District 1)

Timezone Flexibility: Occasionally working during US business hours to collaborate with global teams.

Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Requirements & Stakeholder Collaboration – Gather, analyze, and validate business and technical requirements with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive Problem-Solving – Identify issues early, troubleshoot technical challenges, and propose practical solutions.
• Solution Delivery – Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain reliable technical solutions that meet business and quality requirements.
• Project Ownership – Plan, prioritize, and manage assigned work to meet agreed timelines and delivery commitments.
• Production Support – Monitor production systems, troubleshoot incidents, resolve technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing – Maintain technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge with the team.
• Continuous Growth – Strengthen your technical and communication skills, take on greater responsibility, and seek guidance when needed.

What You’ll Bring to the Table

• 6 months of experience in software engineering, web development, or a related technical role.
• Technical Foundation – Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or a comparable backend language, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Communication - Able to communicate technical concepts clearly in English, share constructive feedback, and collaborate effectively with team members and clients. .
• Engineering Practices – Familiar with Git, coding best practices, and design patterns
• AI-Assisted Development – Comfortable using modern AI development tools (e.g., LLM-powered coding assistants) to improve productivity, debugging, documentation, and code quality, while applying sound engineering judgment to validate outputs. 
• Team, Client & Business Collaboration – Able to work with clients and functional and cross-functional teams, understand business needs, and translate requirements into practical technical solutions.  
• Problem-Solving & Ownership – Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive mindset and accountability for assigned work from implementation through delivery.
