Job Description
Machine Design (Factory Automation)
-
Design machines, mechanical systems, and automation equipment for factory automation projects.

Develop innovative mechanical concepts and transform them into practical design solutions.

Modify and optimize existing machine designs to meet customer requirements while ensuring quality, safety, and manufacturability.

Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools.
-
Select standard components and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
-
Collaborate closely with Electrical, Software, and Manufacturing teams throughout the development process.

Support prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
Mechanical Product Development
-
Analyze customer requirements and translate them into mechanical design specifications.
-
Develop mechanical products from concept through detailed design and release.
-
Create and maintain engineering documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, Engineering Change Requests (ECR), and related technical documents.

Perform design verification and support product validation activities.
-
Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing constraints.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
-
Minimum 3 years of experience
in mechanical design for automation or product development.
-
Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD).

Good understanding of:

Machine design

Manufacturing and machining processes

Material selection

Heat treatment and surface treatment
-
GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
-
Basic understanding of PLC logic and automation system architecture.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills in English.

Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented.
-
Good teamwork, discipline, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with standard mechanical components from suppliers such as MISUMI, THK, SMC, HIWIN, Festo, or similar.

Experience in mechanism simulation or motion analysis using CAD software.
-
Knowledge of DFM, DFA, and FMEA is an advantage.
-
Ability to communicate in Japanese or Chinese is an advantage.
-
Experience in factory automation or industrial equipment development is preferred.
