JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our Technology team to lead the delivery, resilience, and evolution of the Bank’s critical payment platforms. Drive end-to-end implementation, operational management, and compliance to support strategic growth in digital payments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of payment system initiatives, including gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing integrations, planning deployments, implementing changes, and supporting post-production operations
  • Manage and ensure high availability and resilience of critical payment platforms such as FAST, IBG, PayNow, PNDN, and EDP
  • Coordinate 24x7 operational support by managing incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and restoring services within agreed service levels
  • Drive software releases, infrastructure upgrades, security patching, and change implementations while minimizing operational risks
  • Ensure compliance with governance, change management, operational, and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate industry-wide testing, certification exercises, and payment-related regulatory programs to maintain system integrity
  • Monitor system performance to identify and implement improvements that enhance reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge repositories for payment systems
  • Collaborate with Business, Technology, Infrastructure, Risk, Operations teams, and external vendors to deliver solutions on time and within budget
  • Lead proactive problem management and strengthen operational resilience through process optimization and automation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline with experience leading enterprise-scale payment system implementation and operational management in banking or financial services
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, transaction systems, banking operations, and regulatory requirements in high-volume, real-time payment environments
  • Hands-on experience managing incident, change, release, and production support processes focusing on system integration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage external vendors, and deliver technology initiatives in Agile and regulated environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills enabling effective collaboration across Business, Operations, and Technology functions

  • Scripting: Shell, Perl, Groovy
  • Operating systems: Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), UNIX
  • Monitoring and observability tools: Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana
