Presales Engineer

Working location: Hybrid in Xuan Hoa Ward (District 3), HCMC

Salary range: USD 3,500 – 4,500 gross

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a Pre-sales Engineer to provide deep technical expertise for software and

technology solutions delivered to global enterprise clients.

You will work closely with the Solution Delivery Architect (SDA) to evaluate client requirements,

explore technical approaches, and ensure that proposed solutions are technically feasible, scalable,

and realistic to deliver.

•Analyze client requirements, existing systems, technology stacks, and technical constraints.

•Work with the SDA to explore and evaluate technical solution options.

•Design and validate high-level solution architecture, technology choices, integrations, and

migration or modernization approaches.

•Assess technical feasibility, scalability, performance, security, complexity, dependencies,

and risks.

•Compare technical approaches and clearly explain their advantages, disadvantages, and

trade-offs.

•Support technical estimation and validate whether proposed delivery approaches and

timelines are realistic.

•Provide technical input and architecture artifacts for client proposals.

•Participate in client technical discussions when deep technical expertise is required.

•Support technical handover from pre-sales to engineering and delivery teams.

Typical projects:

You will work on large-scale, complex technology initiatives for global enterprise clients, including:

•Enterprise digital transformation and large-scale software modernization programs.

•Legacy system migration and re-architecture of business-critical platforms.

•Cloud migration and cloud-native modernization for complex enterprise environments.

•Design and development of scalable enterprise applications and digital platforms.

•Complex system integration across multiple platforms, APIs, data sources, and third-party

systems.

•Modernization of high-volume, high-availability systems with demanding performance,

security, and scalability requirements.

Projects typically involve complex architectures, multiple systems and stakeholders, significant

technical dependencies, and long-term business impact.

REQUIREMENTS

•10 - 20 years of experience in the software development industry.

•5 - 10 years of experience in pre-sales roles.

•Strong background in Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Solution Architecture, or

similar technical roles.

•Deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud, APIs, system integration,

databases, and software engineering practices.

•Experience designing or reviewing architecture for complex software systems.

•Strong ability to analyze technical feasibility and identify architecture risks and trade-offs.

•Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar systems and technology environments.

•Experience with technical estimation and solution planning.

•Strong English communication skills and ability to work with global clients and stakeholders.

•Strong technical judgment and ability to constructively challenge solution assumptions.

•You are the technical expert who ensures that every solution we propose is technically

sound, realistic, and deliverable - identifying the right architecture, technical trade-offs, risks,

and complexity before commitments are made to the client.

Working environment:

•Work with global enterprise clients and report directly to the Australia-based CEO.

•Join client meetings together with the Solution Delivery Architect (SDA), focusing primarily

on technical discussions, feasibility, architecture, risks, and solution trade-offs.

•Strong English communication is required to explain complex technical concepts clearly and

respond confidently to client technical questions.

•Operate in a highly autonomous, AI-first environment, using AI tools to accelerate technical

research, analysis, architecture exploration, estimation, and documentation.

•Expected to work independently as a senior technical expert, while partnering closely with the SDA on client solutions.
