JOB DESCRIPTION

Working location: Nhon Trach, Dong Nai

Working time: Mon-Fri


Job Purpose

  • Manage both local and overseas procurement activities, primarily for molds, jigs, machining parts, production parts, machinery, equipment, spare parts, CAPEX projects, and related services, with approximately 80% of the role focused on molds and jigs.
  • Ensure the timely procurement of high-quality goods and services at the most competitive cost.
  • Drive cost savings and value creation through strategic sourcing and effective purchasing practices.
  • Negotiate favorable commercial terms and annual contracts with suppliers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full procurement cycle, from sourcing to purchase order issuance, primarily for molds, jigs, machining parts, production parts, machinery, equipment, spare parts, CAPEX projects, and services.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure reliable supply and business continuity.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and daily purchasing requirements with suppliers.
  • Review supplier quotations, compare pricing, and recommend the most competitive sourcing options.
  • Verify purchase requisitions and create purchase orders accurately.
  • Negotiate, establish, maintain, and renew supplier contracts and purchasing agreements.
  • Update contracts by incorporating frequently purchased items and ensuring accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to clarify technical requirements and purchasing needs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to strengthen the supplier base.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end procurement of molds, jigs, and machining parts within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with solid negotiation skills in pricing and commercial terms.
  • Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP, and familiarity with standard procurement processes is an advantage.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills.
