Python Developer (3YOE+)

JOB DESCRIPTION  

• Develop, maintain, and enhance server-side applications using Python.   
• Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.   
• Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-documented code.   
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, and contribute to system improvements.   
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.   
• Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and scalability.  

 

REQUIREMENTS  

Must have:  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.   
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.   
• Strong proficiency in Python, OOP, and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).   
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), including schema design and query optimization.   
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, API design, authentication mechanisms (JWT/OAuth2), microservices, and web architecture.   
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.  
• Testing: pytest/unittest; code style PEP 8; typing/annotations.  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.  

 

Nice to have:  

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.  
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, ..)  
• Docker; ability to write/model design documents (UML, sequence/ER diagrams).  
• TDD; UI testing (Selenium/Playwright).  
• Data workflows: Airflow/Prefect; ETL/streaming basics.  
• Experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor).
