Position Overview

The consultant will support BD IT Product development with a strong focus on SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and integration with SAP backend services. Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications for BD IT Product requirements

• Work with business and functional teams to analyze requirements and convert them into technical solutions

• Integrate Fiori applications with OData services and SAP backend systems

• Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, performance optimization, and defect fixing

• Support application lifecycle activities from design and development through testing and deployment

• Ensure UI consistency, code quality, documentation, and compliance with SAP development standards

• Provide technical guidance and support for issue resolution during project execution

Required Qualifications (Must-have)

• Senior-level hands-on experience in SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 development

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, XML views, MVC patterns, and SAPUI5 controls

• Experience consuming and troubleshooting OData services

• Good understanding of SAP Gateway and integration with SAP backend systems

• Ability to analyze business requirements and propose practical technical solutions

• Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and quality assurance for Fiori applications

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional/global teams

• Good communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-have)

• Experience with SAP BTP, Fiori Launchpad, BAS/Web IDE, or Fiori Elements

• ABAP knowledge for backend coordination and OData troubleshooting

• Experience in product development or long-term application maintenance

• Understanding of UX principles and responsive enterprise application design
