We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Backend Developer to develop and extend our Diagnostics Center platform — a real-time data collection, processing, and visualization system that monitors Quadra semiconductor equipment health. You will work closely with subsystem owners to define data interfaces, design KPIs, and build dashboards that reduce Mean Time To Identification (MTTI) for equipment issues.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance C#/.NET data pipeline components for real-time sensor data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Develop KPI calculation scripts in Python using pandas, scikit-learn, and scipy for equipment health analytics (vibration analysis, positioning accuracy, maintenance scheduling, etc.).
• Extend gRPC streaming APIs (Protocol Buffers) for external client data access.
• Integrate software with hardware and control systems, ensuring efficient, and reliable machine operations.
• Create and maintain Grafana dashboards for real-time equipment status monitoring, including scripted dashboard provisioning.
• Uphold code quality through code reviews and mentoring, and drive improvements to software processes, performance, and usability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for software processes, performance, and usability. Software & System Troubleshooting.
• Experience with Software installation, system setup, and configuration.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across Windows- and Linux-based environments.
• Analyze system performance (throughput, latency, CPU, memory usage).
• Troubleshoot across software and hardware interfaces (controllers, sensors, stages).
• Work with logs, telemetry, and monitoring tools to identify root causes.

Profile:

• Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Backend Development with one of the following programming languages, such as C#, .NET
• Working proficiency in Python with data science libraries (pandas, scikit-learn, scipy).
• Experience with the time-series stack — InfluxDB (or similar) with Flux-style querying, and Grafana or comparable dashboarding.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented design principles and scalable architecture.
• Proficient with multi-threaded and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Proficient understanding of GIT for versioning.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.
• Affinity with hardware and physical systems is a strong plus.
• Good command of spoken & written English.
