Senior Backend Developer (Node.js / PHP / Java / .NET) | Fluent English, 5YOE

KEY RESPONSIBITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for web applications.
• Design system architecture and database structures based on business requirements.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with frontend applications and third-party systems.
• Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate closely with PMs, BAs, Frontend Developers, QC...

REQUIERED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages/frameworks : Node.js (NestJS, ExpressJS); PHP (Laravel); Java (Spring Boot); .NET Core (C#)
• Strong experience in designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs .
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture , distributed systems, service-to-service communication, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ , Kafka , or similar event-driven technologies.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean coding principles.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and database optimization.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) is a plus.
• Familiar with authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2).
• Experience with Docker, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
