Job description
We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer specializing in on-premise platforms, particularly OpenShift Container Platform and Kubernetes, with strong expertise in designing and implementing robust monitoring and observability solutions.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping our platform architecture — ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance across all environments.
Main Responsibilities
- Review and design on-premise platform architecture, focusing on OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architectural alignment with business objectives and scalability requirements.
- Contribute to DevOps initiatives based on the DevOps Roadmap within the VPS environment.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain on-premise infrastructure with a strong emphasis on OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters.
- Review deployment processes to ensure high availability, resilience, and optimize performance.
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and platform issues.
What We Expect in the First 6–12 Months:
Within 6 months:
- Proactive & Gain a deep understanding of the current on-premise infrastructure in VPS.
- Involved and take ownership of one or more platform components (e.g.,cluster lifecycle management, Api management, Kafka, Shift-left CI/CD process/Tools ...).
- Delivered improvements or automation scripts that enhance platform stability and deployment efficiency.
Within 12 months:
- Lead or co-own the new design and implementation of a platform enhancement project (e.g., observability stack redesign, OpenShift upgrade, or security hardening initiative).
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to establishing best practices across the DevOps/Platform team.
- Propose and drive infrastructure optimization initiatives to improve cost efficiency and scalability.
