Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior HVAC Engineer role based in the Hanoi Capital Region. The Senior HVAC Engineer will lead the design and engineering of HVAC systems for industrial and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and client requirements. Daily tasks include developing HVAC concepts and layouts, performing heat load calculations, selecting equipment, preparing technical specifications, and producing detailed drawings and documentation using CAD tools. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, supporting procurement with technical input, and providing guidance during installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities. The Senior HVAC Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, support quality assurance reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of HVAC standards and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in HVAC Engineering and HVAC system design for industrial and infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in HVAC Design, including load calculations, equipment selection, and system layout.
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC operation, maintenance, and repair in complex facilities.
  • Competence in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and reviewing HVAC drawings and models.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) or large industrial project environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant international and local codes, standards, and safety regulations for HVAC systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and provide technical leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines on-site.
  • Professional certifications in HVAC or mechanical engineering are an advantage.
