Senior Java Developer – WMS/OMS (HCMC - Night Shift)

Role Description: Night shift working (HCMC - 21:00 to 06:00, GMT +7)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our development team. The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications while collaborating with multiple stakeholders (internal & external) to complete the work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Java and JSP.
• Develop and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries, PL/SQL objects, and database performance.
• Analyze business requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business users, project teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Review code and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Identify and resolve system performance and application issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes and technical standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java application development.
• 5+ Experience in the Logistics or Supply Chain industry is highly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and JSP.
• Extensive experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and database optimization.
• Solid experience with HTML and JavaScript.
• Experience with AWS and CI/CD practices is a strong advantage.

Soft Skills

• Comfortable owning live production systems and working independently overnight with minimal supervision.
• Vietnamese fluent; working proficiency in English for cross-border collaboration with stake holders and partners
• Vietnamese fluent; intermediate English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a proactive learning attitude.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor and support junior developers.
• Basic to intermediate English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with system integration and enterprise application development.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and DevOps practices.
