Senior Java Software Engineer - Up to $1500

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Review business requirements and perform impact analysis.
• Work closely with IT and business teams to propose backend solutions based on technical feasibility.
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-quality backend services following best practices.
• Build and maintain APIs (REST/SOAP), handle authentication and session management.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Prepare technical documentation, including solution design and test scripts.
• Support effort estimation and development planning.
• Identify risks and proactively address potential issues.
• Provide application support and resolve issues promptly.
• Leverage GenAI tools to improve development productivity and quality.
• (Senior level) Provide technical leadership, define coding standards, and mentor team members.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in backend development using Java.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, system design, and database design.
• Hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot), RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, JWT.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and build tools (Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube).
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
• Knowledge of security protocols (SAML, OIDC).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with middleware (JBoss, IBM MQ) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with GenAI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.) is a plus.
