About Lixibox
Lixibox is Vietnam’s leading premium beauty and wellness platform. We bring together the best global beauty brands, including Halio, Paula’s Choice, NUXE, Shiseido and many others. We are building the future of beauty, wellness and longevity through exceptional products and customer experiences.
About the Role
We're looking for a senior developer for Halio Sonic (longevity devices, US market) and CoBa's Daughter (skincare, US market) — two DTC brands growing quickly in a demanding market. You’ll own both storefronts end to end: the customer-facing front-end, the operational logic behind it, and the roadmap that decides what gets built next.
This is a builder’s role with real product ownership attached. You won’t be waiting for briefs — you’ll help decide how these sites evolve, weighing customer experience, business priority, technical feasibility and speed of execution, and you’ll see the result of your work in the numbers within weeks. You’ll sit in the Tech team and work day to day with the International Brand, Marketing and Ops teams.
I. RESPONSIBILITIES:
The customer journey, from click to repeat purchase. Landing pages, product discovery, PDP, cart, checkout, and the post-purchase and CRM flows that follow. Marketing owns the ad; everything after the click is yours, and you’re accountable for how it performs.
The front-end of two storefronts. Content, design and how well they convert. You’ll be the first person to notice when a page could be better — and we’d love you to bring ideas rather than wait to be asked.
The operations logic behind them. Discount and bundle mechanics; pre-order and subscription rules; SKU and collection setup; order tagging and routing; inventory and fulfilment sync across Shopify, TikTok Shop and Amazon.
The DTC technology roadmap. You decide what gets built and in what order, prioritising by business impact and customer experience rather than by who asked loudest — balancing ongoing optimisation, campaign work, technical improvements and longer-term initiatives. Around ten inbound requests a month sit alongside your own roadmap; judging what makes the cut, and explaining that clearly, is part of the role. Launches cluster, so some months are busier than others.
Performance, measured and improved. Conversion, load speed, cart and checkout drop-off. Propose a change, build it, measure what it actually did. We’ll back your experiments.
II. REQUIREMENTS:
- Live Shopify storefronts you built and maintained, ideally including one you looked after six months or more after launch.
- Custom Liquid theme work we can take a look at.
- One result you’re proud of — with a number attached. A conversion lift, a speed gain, a process you removed.
- Shopify — 5+ years in e-commerce front-end, 2+ years hands-on Shopify. Online Store 2.0: sections, blocks, metafields, metaobjects.
- Liquid theme development — you’re comfortable working directly in the codebase.
- JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 — vanilla and mobile-first. Our themes use native web components rather than React.
- Shopify App development and automation — Admin API (GraphQL/REST), Storefront API, webhooks, Shopify Flow, theme app extensions.
- Golang — backend services and integration middleware.
- CRO and A/B testing — you’ve run structured experiments, not just redesigns. You know what a fair test looks like and you’ll call a flat result flat.
- Tracking and measurement — Meta and Google pixels, Conversions API, server-side events, GA4. When attribution disagrees with reality, you’re the one who finds out why.
- Page speed — Core Web Vitals treated as a metric you own, not something you look at after launch.
- Nice to have: Shopify Plus, Functions or checkout extensibility Klaviyo flows · subscription platforms · TikTok Shop or Amazon integrations.
- Comfortable in Shopify analytics, GA4, and a session tool such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity.
- Able to read advertising data closely enough to tell when the page is the problem and when the traffic is.
- You turn what you see into a prioritised list — opportunity, expected impact, effort — and from that, a testing roadmap.
- You bring a recommendation, not just a chart.
- You already use AI tools (Claude and similar) in your daily loop: writing and reviewing code, building Liquid sections, analysing customer behaviour, automating the repetitive parts.
- You review what comes out of them. Speed matters here, but you own everything that ships.
- You’re interested in finding new places to apply this across our DTC operations, and you’ll show the rest of the team what works.
- A good eye for design — you can build a page that looks right without a designer.
- Happy debugging third-party apps and APIs, including the undocumented ones.
- Solid grasp of DTC mechanics: discounts, bundles, pre-orders, subscriptions, upsells, checkout, order and customer data.
- Git discipline, and work documented well enough for someone else to pick up.
This matters to us as much as the technical side. You’ll often be the bridge between tech, brand, marketing and operations — and frequently the only technical person in the conversation.
- Business ownership. You think past the ticket in front of you and proactively raise the thing that would move customer experience, conversion or revenue.
- Customer and brand awareness. You know our products, customers and competitors well enough to hold an opinion about the experience we’re building.
- Data-driven. Opinions are welcome; you back them with a number when a number exists, and you say so when it doesn’t.
- Good at explaining technical things simply. The people you work with are marketers, not engineers.
- Honest about trade-offs. You want the business to win, and you’ll offer options rather than just a no. When you do push back, it’s grounded in a business reason — timeline, risk, cost — never anything personal. Disagree, explain, then commit.
- Collaborative across tech and business. When something urgent breaks, you pull the right people in quickly and get it fixed. Once it’s stable, you come back and reshape it so it doesn’t keep happening.
- Ownership and accountability. You raise things before they’re noticed and follow through without needing a reminder. You take responsibility for outcomes, not just for tasks assigned to you.
- Speed and adaptability. We’re growing fast, priorities shift, and launches don’t always land neatly inside office hours. We’re looking for someone who will help get it shipped when it matters — and we make sure that’s recognised and balanced afterwards.
- Good time and task management. Realistic ETAs, and an early heads-up when something is slipping.
- English at daily working level. You’ll use English every day for written specs, structured updates and day-to-day conversation. Comfort writing clearly matters most.
