Senior Site Engineer

ABOUT THE JOB

The Senior Construction Site Engineer will lead on‑site supervision, quality control (QA/QC), and progress coordination for a fast‑track, large‑scale electric vehicle manufacturing project in India . The role includes supervising subcontractors, reviewing method statements and ITPs, managing RFIs/NCRs, ensuring HSE compliance, coordinating with design and planning teams, and delivering work to schedule, quality, and cost targets in a multinational environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Supervise daily site works, ensure compliance with drawings, specs, method statements.

2. Coordinate subcontractors, resolve site issues, and ensure resources meet schedule needs

3. Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and materials (with QC & Design)

Rà soát/duyệt biện pháp thi công, shop drawing và vật tư (phối hợp QC & Thiết kế)

4. Manage QA/QC documentation: inspections, punch list, and NCR close‑outs

Quản lý hồ sơ QA/QC: nghiệm thu, punch list, đóng NCR

5. Monitor progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and coordinate look‑ahead plans with Planning

Theo dõi tiến độ, lập báo cáo ngày/tuần, phối hợp kế hoạch look‑ahead với Phòng Tiến độ

6. Enforce HSE standards and toolbox talks; stop‑work authority for unsafe acts/conditions

Tuân thủ HSE và triển khai toolbox talk; quyền dừng việc khi phát hiện nguy cơ mất an toàn

7. Interface with Design/Commercial for technical clarifications, variations, and site instructions

Làm việc với Thiết kế/Thương mại về làm rõ kỹ thuật, phát sinh và chỉ dẫn hiện trường

8. Support testing & commissioning, handover documentation, and as‑built updates

Hỗ trợ chạy thử, bàn giao, hoàn thiện hồ sơ và bản vẽ hoàn công

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

2. 5–8+ years of site supervision experience; industrial/factory projects preferred

3. Strong command of QA/QC (ITP, method statements, RFIs, NCRs) and HSE practices

4. Solid understanding of construction standards/codes (e.g., ACI, AISC/ISC, ASTM, BS/EN)

5. Good English communication; experience in multinational teams
