Senior Software Engineer – Angular/Spring Boot (EC-52)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Angular and Spring Boot to join a client-facing engineering team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance full-stack applications that support business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Angular and Spring Boot .
• Build responsive, modular, reusable UI components following modern Angular best practices.
• Develop and maintain backend services, business logic, and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot .
• Ensure reliable integration between frontend applications, backend services, databases, and external systems.
• Apply clean architecture, component-based design, modular patterns, and established software engineering best practices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools for code generation, rapid prototyping, refactoring, debugging, testing, technical research, and documentation.
• Apply AI-driven or vibe coding workflows responsibly , ensuring AI-generated code is reviewed, understood, tested, and validated before use in production.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, maintainability, and alignment with project standards.
• Identify opportunities where AI and automation can reduce repetitive work and improve development efficiency without compromising quality.
• Optimize application performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver aligned technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, architecture decisions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications.
• Maintain technical documentation covering designs, APIs, integrations, and development standards.

What We Expect:

• 5+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Angular (v19+ preferred), TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3 , and responsive design.
• Strong understanding of Angular architecture, reusable/shared components, state management, routing, forms, and frontend performance.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL .
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with JSON .
• Understanding of object-oriented design, clean code, SOLID principles, common design patterns, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Git , pull-request workflows, automated builds, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience with, or willingness to adopt, AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or equivalent coding assistants.
• Ability to use AI effectively for implementation, refactoring, testing, debugging, code analysis, documentation, and rapid prototyping.
• Ability to independently review, test, debug, and improve AI-generated code rather than relying on generated output without validation.
• Understanding that AI-assisted development complements rather than replaces sound engineering judgment , testing, security practices, and architectural thinking.
• Awareness of responsible AI considerations including data privacy, intellectual property, information security, hallucination risks, and protection of client information .
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in a client-driven environment .
• Understanding of modern software architectures, including microservices, modular systems, and common engineering patterns.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

• Domain knowledge of event ticketing, reservation, e-commerce, or other transactional platforms .
• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Experience with caching technologies such as Redis .
• Practical experience with AI-first development, vibe coding, prompt engineering, agentic coding tools, or AI-assisted code reviews .
• Experience using AI to accelerate unit testing, technical documentation, migration activities, legacy code analysis, or development workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud-native development, containerization, or technologies such as Docker .
• Passion for staying current with developments in Angular, Spring Boot, Java, AI-assisted software engineering, and modern full-stack development .
