About the position: We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using .NET Core . You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using .NET Core
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design and implement user interfaces using modern web development tools and techniques
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years’ experience
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in .NET Core
• Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development
• Experience with version control systems like Git or Azure DevOps
• Prior familiarity with the POS, Retail, and E-commerce domains is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, NoSQL (Firebase, Firestore)
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD)
• Experience with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
