Software Engineer (Computer Vision & Mobile Application)

About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop Android-based inspection applications that combine mobile technology, computer vision, and AI. You will work on solutions involving image capture, backend integration, and inspection result visualization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Android applications using Kotlin for visual inspection solutions.
- Build intuitive UI/UX workflows to guide users through inspection sequences.
- Integrate camera functionalities and OpenCV for image acquisition, processing, and analysis.
- Develop camera-based localization and viewpoint guidance features for inspection positioning.
- Implement REST API communication between mobile applications and backend systems.
- Develop backend services for testing and support image upload and inspection result retrieval.
- Visualize inspection results, including defect measurements, confidence scores, and Pass/Fail status.
- Optimize application performance, conduct testing, debugging, and support deployment activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and support software maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 1 year of software development experience .
- Strong experience in Android application development using Kotlin .
- Experience with OpenCV, image processing, computer vision, REST APIs, and Git .
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AI/deep learning workflows and computer vision applications.
- Experience with Python/FastAPI for backend development.
- Familiarity with Visual Localization, Structure-from-Motion (SfM), Visual SLAM, or ARCore .
- Experience developing industrial machine vision or automated inspection systems.
