JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our product development team. You will participate in designing and developing software solutions for self-service systems such as Photo Booths, Kiosks, Automated Machines, and other Windows-based embedded solutions.
You will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA Engineers, and Software Engineers throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to product release.
1. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including:
+ Requirement analysis
+ System design
+ Implementation
+ Unit testing
+ Integration testing
+ Deployment and maintenance
- Develop desktop and web applications using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and Blazor.
- Design clean, maintainable, and scalable software architectures.
- Troubleshoot, debug, optimize, and improve existing applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (design documents, UML diagrams, API specifications, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
- Perform code reviews and proactively ensure software quality.
- Research and evaluate new technologies that improve product quality and development efficiency.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Team Leader.
2. Requirements
- Programming: Strong programming skills in C#, .NET Framework and modern .NET (.NET 6/8+), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Software Engineering: SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, Clean Code, Debugging & Troubleshooting, Unit Testing fundamentals.
- Web Development: ASP.NET, Blazor (Server or WebAssembly), HTML/CSS/JavaScript fundamentals
- Database: SQL fundamentals, Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL...)
- Development Process: Git, Agile/Scrum, Jira, Confluence
- General Skills: Problem solving, Analytical thinking, Intermediate English, Team collaboration
- Windows Internals: Native DLL interaction, Driver concepts, Windows Registry, Windows Services, Process management
- Product Engineering: Logging, Diagnostics, Performance optimization, Memory management, Software deployment, Offline applications
- Documentation: UML, Sequence Diagram, Class Diagram, Technical Design Documents
- Passion for software engineering and continuous learning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ownership mindset with attention to software quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing business requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Distributed Systems: RESTful API, gRPC, SOAP / WCF, Microservices
Windows Development: Windows desktop application concepts, 32-bit vs 64-bit applications, DLL, Windows Services
- Asynchronous Programming: async / await, Task Parallel Library, Thread vs Process, Synchronization, Background services
- Hardware Integration: USB communication, COM / Serial (RS232), Printer integration, Camera integration, Scanner integration, Payment devices, Device SDK integration
