Software Technical Lead (C#, .NET)

MiTek’s VN Software Excellence Center division is seeking a dynamic and passionate Software Technical Lead who will be part of a software team working for single or multi-family modeling, design, and estimating. Be part of a high-performing and collaborative team that is focused on innovation and engaging MiTek customers, while creating powerful software.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solution design and software development activities.
• Mentor engineers and promote excellence engineering.
• Drive code quality, architecture decisions, and technical innovation.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver high-quality products on time.
• Continuously improve development processes and team capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are efficient, consistent, and fulfill business needs.
• Write technical documents for software architecture or design as required.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and collaborative requirements reviews.
• Collaborate with multiple global teams to contribute to a large-scale project.

Your Skills and Experience

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience working as a software engineer and related roles;
• Experience with C#, .NET
• Knowledge of data structures and strong understanding of object-oriented principles
• Comfortable digging into large, unfamiliar codebases to diagnose, debug, and resolve critical issues
• Good at English communication

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Experience working developing desktop applications
• Understanding of mathematical concepts involving algebra and geometry
