Solution Architect - Enterprise Technology

About The Role

We are looking for a Solution Architect who can turn business and technical requirements into practical, implementable architectures. You will own detailed solution design and implementation readiness, working with the Lead Solution Architect during presales and with delivery teams through implementation.

This is not a cloud-only role. Solutions may include applications, integrations, data, on-premises infrastructure, private cloud, public cloud or hybrid environments. The architecture must fit the client’s security, regulatory, operational, cost and delivery constraints.

What You Will Do

• Assess current applications, infrastructure, integrations, data flows, operational processes and technical constraints.
• Turn business and technical requirements into target architectures, implementation plans and clear technical decisions.
• Design solutions across applications, APIs, integration, compute, networking, storage, databases, identity, security, data and operational tooling.
• Compare on-premises, private cloud, public cloud and hybrid options and explain the cost, security, scalability, reliability and operational trade-offs.
• Produce architecture diagrams, high-level and detailed designs, interface specifications, data flows, migration plans and decision records. Define the required performance, availability, recovery, security and observability standards.
• Provide technical input to discovery, estimates, risks, proof-of-concept planning and proposals led by the Lead Solution Architect.
• Work with Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure, Data, AI, Security, client teams and vendors to resolve design dependencies.
• Plan migration, modernization and integration work, including cutover, rollback and stabilization.
• Work with delivery teams during implementation, testing and stabilization. Review key technical outputs and keep documentation current through handover.
  
  

What You Need

• 4+ years of relevant experience across software engineering, infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, solution architecture, systems integration or enterprise implementation.
• Ownership of architecture or technical design for at least one significant solution through implementation, migration or production rollout.
• Strong architecture fundamentals across modern software, APIs, integration, infrastructure, data, identity, security and operational readiness.
• Depth in at least one environment, such as enterprise on-premises infrastructure, private cloud, AWS, Azure or GCP, with the ability to work across related environments.
• Ability to create clear architecture diagrams, detailed designs, non-functional requirements, migration plans, risk assessments and technical recommendations.
• Experience working with engineering, infrastructure, security, DevOps and client stakeholders to move a design into delivery.
• A practical problem-solving approach focused on solutions that can be implemented, operated and supported successfully.
• Effective technical English and sound judgment around information security, data privacy, document handling and client confidentiality.
• Strong awareness of the confidentiality of business data, customer data, and mapping/specification documents within data projects.
• Ability to properly classify, label, and share documents with the right stakeholders through approved channels; does not disclose business or technical materials outside the scope of work.
• Ability to identify information security and data privacy requirements, as well as potential data leakage risks during requirements gathering and analysis.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in banking, fintech, securities, government, telecommunications or other regulated environments.
• Experience with VMware, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Linux, Windows Server or enterprise networking and storage.
• Experience with cloud migration, data-center modernization, application modernization or hybrid integration.
• Experience with data platforms, analytics, AI/ML systems or enterprise integration platforms.
• Relevant architecture or technology certifications, or experience supporting discovery, presales, estimates, proposals or proof-of-concept work.
• Practical use of AI tools to improve research, documentation and architecture analysis while protecting confidential information.

• Architectures and technical documents are detailed enough for engineering and infrastructure teams to implement confidently.
• Deployment decisions reflect the client’s real constraints, and risks and dependencies are identified early.
• Delivery teams receive practical technical guidance and current documentation through implementation and handover.
