Structural Engineer

Position: Structural Engineer

Location: GYVN - Ho Chi Minh/ Ha Noi, Vietnam

Responsibilities

• Be involved from the beginning to the end of the solar rooftop project.
• Prepare structural reinforcement specification, drawings, estimation and other analysis reports in accordance with TCVN and international standards (EUROCODE/ ACI standard), not limited to making calculations about dead load, live loads and related calculations.
• Assess the calculation and report of the service company, challenge the result presented by focusing on the technical specifications and verification of different commercial and industrial structural projects.
• Review and choose the best structural solutions
• Ensure the proper documentation for every project.
• Participate in the weekly and monthly meeting, provide the open and constructive feedback.
• Perform other tasks assigned by line manager.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Professional certification or licensure in Structural Engineering, in accordance with local regulations, is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Structural Engineering.
• Experience in designing structures for factories/industrial zones is a strong plus.

Skills & Knowledge

• Proficient in structural engineering software such as AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, and PLAXIS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Good understanding of regulations, codes, and industry practices related to industrial construction.
• Ability to thoroughly understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel for business on a regular basis.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
