SYSTEMS ENGINEER / DEVOPS ENGINEER
JOB DESCRIPTION
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Hanoi, Blameo Technology Company provides custom software engineering, enterprise IT consulting, and technical staffing solutions for domestic and international clients.
1. Role Overview
Mainly responsible for the deployment, configuration, operation, and optimization of complex distributed data infrastructure systems. Work closely with the Tech Lead/Architect to receive technical solutions, package, and deploy source code onto Clusters. This position prefers candidates with a Backend Developer or DevOps background who have a good mindset about distributed systems, take initiative, and learn quickly on their own.
2. Key Responsibilities (Focus on Deployment)
● System Deployment (Main): Receive architectural solutions, package, configure, and deploy source code and applications onto large distributed infrastructure clusters.
● Operation & Monitoring: Configure, monitor, and ensure the stability of Clusters; coordinate to handle system troubleshooting during operation.
● Additional Development (Sub): Write scripts, modify or develop additional auxiliary modules (mostly fetching/adapting from existing code) to integrate into the system upon request.
● Documentation Research: Actively read technical documentation of technologies within the stack to configure the system optimally.
3. Required Qualifications
* Experience & Technical Background (Must-Have):
● Overall Experience: 3 - 4 years of experience working as a Software Engineer (Backend) or DevOps Engineer.
● System Mindset: Experience working with or clearly understanding the operational principles of distributed systems (Distributed System / Distributed Cluster).
● Programming Languages: Ability to read, understand, and write code well in Java or Scala.
● Packaging & Deployment: Proficient in Docker, experience working with or operating on Kubernetes (K8s) environments (This is a major advantage for fast system onboarding).
● Experience with Hadoop: 1 - 2 years of experience working with or configuring and deploying on Hadoop infrastructure (HDFS, Yarn, HBase, Hive...).

● Active & Proactive: Highly self-motivated, take initiative in accepting deployment tasks and finding configuration solutions instead of waiting for explicit micro-management.
● Fast Self-Learning: Ability to read and understand technical documentation of new technologies very quickly to apply to deployment/configuration.
● Clear Communication: Know how to communicate and ask clear questions to Tech Lead and related teams to quickly grasp the deployment solutions needed.
* Nice to Have (Preferred Qualifications):
● Past experience working in system environments related to Network Domain (Telecommunications, ISP, network device logs).
● Experience with or understanding of how to deploy/configure technologies: Kafka, Flink, Storm, Presto, MariaDB (Galera Cluster), Oracle, Redis, Zookeeper.
