UI Developer (Fiori)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5 and Fiori applications. Ensure adherence to SAP Fiori design guidelines and UX best practices.
• Implement Free Style , Flexible Programming Model (FPM) and Fiori Elements (List Report, Object Page, Analytical List Page) & Key User extensibility framework for UI applications for unique business requirements.
• Develop applications using Fiori Elements
• Extend standard SAP Fiori apps using SAP’s extensibility framework.
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions and designs. Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues
• Integrate Fiori applications with backend systems (S/4HANA and Non SAP Systems) and deployment in Cloud Foundry.
• Participate in agile development cycles and deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Development Skills

• Free Style and Fiori Elements SAP UI5 Development: Strong hands-on experience in building custom apps from scratch. Languages - JavaScript , HTML5, CSS3 , Node.js.
• Flexible Programming Model: Skilled in implementing FPM for advanced UI scenarios.
• Key User Extensibility: Experience in extending standard Fiori apps using extensibility framework. Familiarity with enabling business users to extend and customize Fiori apps.
• SAPUI5 & OData: Solid understanding of SAPUI5 framework and OData services.
• Tools: Experience with SAP Build Code & BAS, and SAP Fiori Launchpad / Workzone.
• Security & Authorization: SAP security, authorization, and user management for Fiori apps.
• Version Control & CI/CD : Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines, working experience with Git.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and within a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with UI mock up / prototype tools such as Figma.
• Familiar with SAP BTP CAP model and full stack development.
• Knowledge of BTP CAP / ABAP Cloud.
• Experience with Data Modelling and Service modelling for developing enterprise applications.
• SAP certification in ABAP or related areas.
